OUR BRAND STORY
Roy, our CEO, is a professional photographer who has traveled the world. He opened his first restaurant in Prague in 2017, so he could enjoy Korean food whenever he missed it.
Depending on who makes it,each Korean dish has a different recipe and taste. Our Korean food is prepared to suit Roy's taste, a typical Korean who can’t live without soju and kimchi.
For 8 years, we have developed our own flavors, including sauces and kimchi, and ended up with three restaurants in Prague, each with a different concept: Pocha, Ggogi, and Numaru.

To serve honest, approachable Korean food that feels familiar from the first visit. At Pocha, our mission is to create everyday comfort — generous dishes, warm hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere where guests know they’ll eat well, feel welcome, and leave happier than they arrived.
Vision
To be the place people think of when they say, “Let’s just go there.” We want Pocha to be a reliable part of everyday life — a local Korean restaurant where flavors are consistent, portions are generous, and Korean culture is shared naturally through food, habits, and hospitality. A place that feels easy, comforting, and unmistakably Korean, without ever feeling complicated.
